Serena grew up in Lakeport, California, and attended the University of Oregon. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture, with minors in business and economics, and, as of June 2026, she is a licensed architect! Aside from studio 2G, Serena serves as the Vice President for the S&T Mutual Water Company in Los Osos, CA.

Serena grew up around a family who operated in the construction business, giving her early insight into the industry. Her combined love for math and the arts further influenced her to explore a career in Architecture. Serena aspires to bring her client’s visions to life before their eyes and is enthusiastic about sustainability and creating unique designs.

In the future, Serena would like to build her own home on a small piece of property. Ideally, the home would be constructed with a piece done by each of her close family and friends that are in the trades/profession (ie. Custom welding from her brother Jason, concrete from her brother Kyle, Painting by her Dad.) Then enjoy her little piece of home!

Serena’s favorite days are filled with sun and the freedom of having no plans! She prefers to experience her days in the present and move through them intuitively. Her hobbies range from line dancing to camping and golfing to snowboarding.
