Marcello is a Central Coast native, born and raised in Templeton, California. He earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2024.

Marcello’s interest in landscape architecture began at an early age. While working for his father’s construction company in high school, he developed an appreciation for the design process and was inspired by seeing ideas move from drawings and plans to built spaces. That experience helped shape his decision to pursue a career where creativity, design, and construction come together.

Looking ahead, Marcello hopes to become a licensed Landscape Architect and continue growing as a designer and leader. His long-term goal is to either own his own landscape architecture firm, or run a landscape architecture department within a multidisciplinary practice, helping build and shape a strong landscape architecture team.

Outside of the office, Marcello enjoys staying active and spending as much time outdoors as possible. Whether he’s at the gym, hiking around the Central Coast, relaxing at the beach, or spending time with his Australian Shepherd, he’s happiest when he can get outside. His ideal day starts with a workout and a trip to the dog park, followed by plenty of time to relax and enjoy everything the Central Coast has to offer.
