Cole Marcus
arch associate
Cole grew up in Huntington Beach, California, and later moved to San Luis Obispo to pursue a degree in Architecture at Cal Poly, graduating in 2024. Drawn to creativity and the process of making things, he found architecture to be the perfect intersection of art, craft, and purpose. During his time in school, Cole realized just how meaningful architecture can be—and how thoughtfully designed spaces can positively influence people’s lives. That realization solidified his passion for the field.
Outside of work, Cole enjoys wood carving, making music, and unwinding with a good show and great food. He loves camping with friends and spending quality time with the people he cares about. Looking ahead, he’s working toward architectural licensure, hopes to become a homeowner, and is excited to continue honing his “adulting” skills—like mastering a few signature meals in the kitchen.
Cole’s ideal day starts with an early morning run, followed by coffee and breakfast with his partner. He’d spend the late morning reading, then settle in for an afternoon of music and wood carving before heading out for a beachside adventure and a meal at a new restaurant. He’d wrap up the evening with his girlfriend, ending the day with a movie night on the town.
