2G Site Visit: See Canyon Residence

Wanting to see the progress in "real time", the Studio 2G staff took a visit to the site of our latest project in See Canyon. While the 3D model is helpful in orienting how the space will look, seeing the framing, the beams and the views really bring the project to life.

Here we see the exposed glulam beams that will most likely be painted black.  Glued laminated timber, or glulam, is a highly innovative construction material. Pound for pound, glulam is stronger than steel and has greater strength and stiffness than comparably sized dimensional lumber.
